When the production of testosterone stops after sterilization, the aggressive temperament of the male also decreases and it becomes easier to work.
# Meat production
Males have less fat and more muscle mass than females. Testosterone plays a role in this process. When testosterone production stops, the fat in male meat increases. In addition, it has been observed that male meat without sterilization also produces a foul odor. It also raises the pH of testosterone muscles. When testosterone production stops, the fat in the meat increases (which increases the amount of meat). At the same time, the meat tastes good and it gets old.
# Method of sterilization
There are two common methods of sterilization.
In one way, the testicles are squeezed in such a way that their veins are cut, which prevents the blood supply to the testicles and they stop working and become lifeless.
In the second method, the scrotum, that is, the loose skin containing the testicles, is surgically incised and the testicles are taken out of it. This method is adopted for buffaloes and horses.
This process is definitely painful for the animal but the pain is treated with medicine.
Most people think that after sterilization the animal does not have sex which saves a lot of energy which makes it fat, but I have not found any scientific evidence or research on this, and a lot of sexual activity. Not much energy is expended and even after sterilization the animal is taken to work hard which consumes energy, so it is not correct to say that not performing sexual intercourse is the main reason for saving energy.
